How does a UV sterilizer work?

A UV pool water sterilizer works on the principle of using ultraviolet (UV) light to destroy microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and algae that could cause water pollution. This process is completely safe. The UV sterilizer works as follows:

1. Water inlet: Pool water is directed through a pump system to the UV sterilizer. This system usually includes filters that remove larger particles before the water enters the UV unit.
